Effect of different varieties and spacings on yield and quality of cabbage (Brassica oleracea L. var. capitata)

The field experiment was conducted at Horticulture Research Farm-I, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow (U.P.), during rabi season of 2020-21 and 2021-22 to study the effect varieties spacing on growth yield cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.). Four four spacings with three replications were evaluated in factorial randomized block design. Among Golden Acre had taken earliest days for head initiation (51.67) harvest (72.97) days. Variety significantly produced highest diameter (15.67cm), weight (1.43 kg) whole plant (3.71 noted. maximum TSS (6.748) total sugar (3.93) noted variety Pusa Cabbage Hybrid-82. In point view, value quality attributes under Hybrid-82 respectively. (3.95 kg), number heading leaves (18.9) (15.67cm) recorded 45×45cm. Whereas (695.53 q/ha) 45×45 cm cabbage.
